Rona May Bryan was born and raised in Oregon. She is currently working towards a B.S. in Natural Resources with a focus on Art, Education, and Outreach in Fisheries Science at Oregon State University. For five years after high school, Rona traveled, studied, and worked in Ireland, Scotland, and Austria. In 2016, she completed a B.A. in Studio Art at Western Washington University, culminating her ongoing body of work in mixed media installation, which began during a year-long study abroad at the Burren College of Art in Ireland.
Her current work examines environmental unknowns and human conflict at the intersection of art and science, focusing in particular on the complex and shifting landscape of human connection with the natural world.
